About this tool

A free, unofficial force builder for NearPresent, the close combat game of private military teams on storm-wrecked platforms.

What it does

NearPresent Force Builder helps you put together a legal force in a few minutes. Pick a game type and faction, build your team and CCT load-outs, then choose Intervention cards, Munitions and Emplacements. Save, share or print the force sheet. It runs in the browser, needs no account and keeps your forces on your own device.

Build
Pick a game type, faction, team and CCT modules, then cards and Enabler Points. The force sheet tracks CP and EP and flags anything illegal.
Introduction
A five-minute orientation for new players.
Starter forces
Ready-made forces for each faction and game type. Open one and change it.
Quick reference
The turn sequence and core rules in plain English. Searchable.
Rules index
A keyword search that points to the Core Book page.
Factions
The war, both sides and every unit.

The tool summarizes rules and points. It does not replace the rulebook. If something here disagrees with the printed book, the book wins.
